Rosenthal meets with Czech foreign minister and Dutch business community in Czech Republic
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Uri Rosenthal, has met in Prague with his Czech counterpart, Karel Schwarzenberg. The Ministers discussed stepping up cooperation between the Benelux countries and the Visegrád Group – the regional alliance made up of the Czech Republic, Poland, Slovakia and Hungary.

On 7 February foreign minister Uri Rosenthal recalled the Dutch ambassador from Syria for consultations in The Hague. He also summoned the Syrian ambassador to explain the current situation in Syria. Mr Rosenthal discussed his decision during the parliamentary debate on the situation in the Arab region.
Minister of Foreign Affairs Uri Rosenthal has opened the exhibition ‘Rembrandt & Co.’ at the National Gallery in Prague. The most valuable piece on loan is Rembrandt’s portrait of a man in an Oriental costume, which normally hangs in the Rijksmuseum.
