Poetry International Web, the global poetry forum, recently published a complete collection of poems by Christopher Magadza from Zimbabwe. The struggle for freedom, love of nature, threatened religious, racism and political oppression are the primary themes of his poetry. Magadza has been active for decades, as a result of which his work is considered a barometer of recent Zimbabwean history. The new collection is titled Father and Other Poems and contains a variety of poems unpublished to date.
Poetry International Web has editors in twenty countries, and presents work by 140 poets from 100 countries. The site's content continues to rapidly grow. Poetry by mail? Scroll to the bottom of the homepage, register and a poem will be sent to you each week.
