PULSE (Durban, South Africa) annually organises a large collaborative project with artists from South Africa and beyond (mostly from other RAIN initiatives). The projects link up with the themes that are relevant at that point in time, such as in the past “the interface between high-tech and lo-tech art” and “Violence/Silence”. PULSE hopes in this way to initiate a more open and intercultural debate within the professional art world in South Africa.
